Magic Slice
Ingredients:
- 20 vanilla wine biscuits, crushed to fine crumbs
- 75g butter, melted
- 1 cup raisins, or other dried fruit
- 1 cup chocolate bits, or chopped dark chocolate
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 70g package slivered almonds
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Mix the crushed wine biscuits and melted butter and press into the bottom of a 30 x 20cm slice tin.
2. Sprinkle the raisins evenly over the base, followed by the chocolate, coconut and almonds. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top.
3. Bake for about 20 minutes until the top is pale gold and glossy. Cut into squares or oblongs while still warm.
